Tropical black bamboo grows to 45 feet with 4 inch culms. It is cold hardy to 30 degrees. Tropical black bamboo is a medium sized beautiful black bamboo. Tropical black bamboo has leaves and culms slightly larger than Black lako bamboo , but no less spectacular. It is a very desirable bamboo for furniture and musical instruments.
